Henry Charles at TMS Makeup Shop San Francisco

The Makeup Show

Hey lovelies! As we’ve settled back into the groove from the craziness of The Makeup Show San Francisco, we’d love to share some of our take-a-aways and new-found friends.

First off, San Francisco is a killer, untapped beauty market.

Henry Charles Makeup BagsSure, there are the industry’s heavy hitters that reside here, such as Sephora,  Benefit, and Bare Minerals headquarters just to name a few, but it was refreshing to meet the artists, spa owners, and beauty enthusiasts that keep the city pumping with its much-needed beauty lifeblood.  After all, why should New York and LA have all the fun?

Secondly, this was the liveliest, friendliest group of customers we’ve encountered, and we’re still reliving it.  From quirky MUA’s doting full leopard print and funky glasses, to Med-Spa / Yoga Studio Owners who made jokes about ridiculous yoga poses and sly comments about beauty products resembling well-known sex toys.  Hilarious.

We’re also lucky enough to have made some incredible connections such as local Makeup Studio Owners who want to carry our line, TV Network and Youtube Channel Hosts, and MUA’s who want to be ambassadors.  Seriously, we’re still reveling at the prospects.  Not to mention the idea of getting more involved with the education sector at Blush School of Makeup. Thanks Jay for showing us your jaw-dropping zombie transformation.  Thriller vibes all around our booth that day.

In closing, we were honored to exhibit amongst our friends and some of the show’s staples such as Mineral Air, LimeLight by Alcone, and Frends Beauty, (although we couldn’t even restock on our Beauty Blenders given the line around the perimeter of the venue!

This market really understood our bags and the level of craftsmanship and hours poured into create them. Thank you. We are utterly filled with love and gratitude for you, SF.
